One among the top fifty colleges in our country, Aurora Degree College has had a great record for the on campus placements and recruitments for the third year students. The college has not only excelled in providing students a platform to showcase its talents but also has taken initiatives to recognize these talents at bigger levels. Placements are one such thing which Aurora has been striving to work upon as the every academic year passes by. Aurora is among the very few undergraduate colleges in the state which offers high profile and student centric placements.
With the co-ordination of Mr. Raghuram (internal head) and Mr. John Moses (external head) the placement cell of Aurora college holds great importance for every aspiring student. The cell consists of group of students and faculty giving utmost commitment in searching and facilitating right careers for right individuals. The committee carries out every action from profile making to the final interview, helping students to be placed in esteemed companies. The campus interviews are carried out during October to January every year. Companies visit the campus and personally meet the students and interview them. The companies have the liberty to stretch their selection process to multiple rounds in the predetermined time. The Process goes through as follows.
Initial Contact by the College to the Companies requesting them to visit the campus
Confirmation by the companies through e-mail or phone on their participation in the placement process giving the date on which they can do the initial screening
Profile Presentation by the company out lining the growth prospects and career Opportunities, generally given by the Branch Head
Written test/ GD/ Initial interview to be conducted to the first short list, initiating the process of placement. The entire selection procedure should be completed and the offer letters should be issued by February end.

Statistics
As the college offers integrated development of students each year more than 80% of eligible and deserving students get placed with top MNC’s such as Deloitte, Dun & Bradstreet, Bradridge, Hewelet Packard, Oracle, IBM, Google, Microsoft, HSBC, IGATE, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant and many more. Aurora has the distinct for best pay packages ranging from Rs Two lakhs per annum to Rs Five Lakhs per annum. 2008-2009 was a significant year in spite of the economic recession as the college placed more than 400 students in reputed and multinational companies. 318 students got recruited in the year 2007-2008 in companies like Bank of America Continuum Solutions, Dell, iGATE etc.
In 2006-2007, 177 students got recruited in companies like IBM, Satyam, Cognizant and many more.
